Paincast ("the app") is made by Md Alauddin (Alauddin Studio). This policy explains what data the app uses and why. In short: your diary never leaves your phone, there is no account, no ads and no tracking.
Everything you log (how you feel, what hurts, medicine names, notes) is stored only on your phone. We never receive it. If you use "Export diary", the file goes only where you choose to send it.
If you allow it, the app reads your approximate (city-level) location once to find your city. You can also type a city instead. To get the forecast, the app sends rounded coordinates (about 1 km) to our server, which asks MET Norway for the forecast and keeps a short-lived copy so nearby users share it. The server does not store who asked or keep a log of locations. City names come from your phone's own map service (Apple or Google).
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat, which tells the app whether Premium is active using an anonymous ID. We never see your card details.
Alerts are planned on your phone from the forecast. No push server is involved.
Paincast shows weather forecasts and your own notes. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
You can delete all app data at any time in Settings → Delete all my data, or by deleting the app. For questions or requests, including GDPR and CCPA requests, email alauddinahmed7888@gmail.com.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
